                                                                          Rental Agreement

Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental offers two rental periods: A short rental is 3 days. A long rental is 7 days. Extended rentals may be requested by the costumer for an additional fee. The rental period begins the day Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental receives notification that the costumes have been delivered to the customer. Unless paying by purchase order, rental fees must be paid in full at the time of the rental.

Costumes not returned before the 72 hour short rental period will be considered a long rental and charged accordingly. The rental start date will remain the same.

For Weekly and extended rentals, late fees will be charged if the costumes are not returned by the due date at a rate of 25% of rental cost for each week (or fraction thereof.)

The replacement value of each item is 20 times the rental price. The replacement value is to be paid in full to Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental in case of loss, theft or damage as determined by Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental.

Costumes must be returned in the condition in which they were rented. Please examine your rentals upon receiving them. Any pre-existing damages or stains will be noted on your receipt.

The rental price includes basic laundering, but costumes with stains, spills or excessive dirt must be cleaned before they are returned. Garments returned excessively soiled will be considered damaged and will be charged at the discretion of Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental. All items must be returned in their original bags.

Minor alterations (hems, waists, cuffs) are acceptable as long as the alteration does not damage the costume. Any costume that has been altered must be restored to its original measurements before it is returned. Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental reserves the right to charge a tailoring fee if any costume is returned altered. Alterations requiring cutting and dying of costumes is never allowed without written permission from Black Spectrum Theatre Costume Rental.
